Phnom Penh music royalty of Miss Sarawan and Scoddy open up the weekend with some golden era classics from the likes of  Pen Ron and Ros Sereysothea.

Okay, let’s get some dancing, paint and cultural appropriation all over ourselves. Noisy Chilli brings us a huge celebration of the Indian Holi festival. Bring some white or light coloured clothes that you don’t mind looking like a Kampot hippy tie dyed your whole outfit in. Also, bring your own colours, or gulal, that you can pick up from your nearest Indian shop and let Noisy know you’re coming so that they can plan logistics.

It’s time for a big seshy night of tunes at Backstreet to kick the weekend off well. Phnom Penh favourites Geography of the Moon take stage to bring you some bangers from 20:00. Then DJ Manlikebrooks, once he is finished kicking people in the face,  will appear for a DJ set taking us into the wee hours.

The first ever Nerd Night fully in Khmer is finally here- as it should be! Talks will include the difference between African and Khmer cow culture, living a full life, learning a foreign language successfully, the science of soil and kayaking down the Mekong!

Get down for a full night of sexy Latin, dancing, boats and late night seshing. Revelers are meeting at 18:30 at The Deck and heading to the boat from there with tickets at $10. Then the crew moves on to Rumba Latina to keep those arses a shaking.

It’s a chance to spend the day with some actual greenery and support some local producers of food, drink and crafts. There’s also a bunch of creative and interactive activities for the little ones to take part in. Yes, it may all be a ploy to get you to send your children to this school. But it is also green and nice to let your kids run around somewhere other than Mao Tse Tong boulevard. Then they can stay alive long enough to send then to this school with lots of greenery. Win win.
