Young Khmer filmmakers take the spotlight at a special screening at META House.

Last year saw the launch of Legacy Film Lab: an innovative, original film contest that aims to foster the next generation of filmmakers in Cambodia.

Young Khmer hopefuls submitted stories related to the topic, “The Legacy of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodian society”. The winning four writers were then helped to develop their entries into scripts, and given the the opportunity to direct the short films themselves with the crew of Khmer Mekong Films.
