Phnom Penh celebrates crêpes day (La Chandeleur) with various venues offering brunch specials this weekend.

La Chandeleur, also known as Crêpes Day, is a religious holiday marking the beginning of the new harvest and is celebrated every year on the 2nd of February. Phnom Penh is embracing this occasion with many venues on-board with sweet treat delights throughout this weekend.

If crêpes aren’t your jam, then fear not as Ministry of Cat has the perfect alternative. For $12 you can mix and match a vegan-friendly, homemade waffles plate with a huge array of indulgent toppings, with everything from sweet syrups, fruits, ice-cream to savory nuts. The set includes plate of waffles, all toppings of choice, fresh orange juice and a coffee of choice.

Plus for an extra $2, you can add a glass of Prosecco or a mimosa.
