After an awesome launch at the weekend, Elbow Room continues its $4 End-of-Day specials menu this week. Here are the biggest hits.
The Golden Glove is the star of the EOD menu which is available every day from 6-9pm for just $4.
One of the many riffs on the classic Daiquiri, this delectable drink was created by famed bartender Constantino Ribalaigua in 1937, at the iconic bar El Floridita in Havana, Cuba.
The Golden Glove swaps the classic Daiquiri’s standard White Rum, for rich and funky mix of Jamaican Rum and Dry Curacao. Elbow Room serves theirs with fresh hand-shaved ice alongside the traditional lime and sugar.
From the regular menu, the cocktail that’s getting people talking the most is Elbow Room’s own creation, the Mekong Swizzle (pictured above).
This uses Plantation Pineapple Rum, Palm Wine, Banane du Bresil, Fresh Lime, Kaffir Leaf & Coconut Oil prepared with a swizzle stick – the branch of a tree native to the West Indies. These have been used in rum cocktails since the late 1800s to give your drink a fabulous tropical twist.
In just over two weeks, the team will also launch their brand new food menu, a collaboration with the renowned chef Timothy Bruyns, from Tiger’s Eye.
