Our Pick
Tigers, Crows and even Eagles. It’s the 2017 AFL final, and here’s where to watch it.
Who would win in a fight between a Tiger and a Crow? Put your money where your mouth is as this Saturday we’ll find out.
Who would win in a fight between a Tiger and a Crow? Put your money where your mouth is, because this Saturday, we’ll find out.
That’s right: on Saturday 30th September, the Richmond Tigers take on the Adelaide Crows for the 2017 Premiership Cup.
Want to make a day of it, maybe grab some tinnies and get a BBQ going? Here’s our top picks for where to watch the match in Phnom Penh.
Bars Bars Bars
All Sports Bar
This would be our top pick, primarily as it’s hosted by the Cambodian Eagles.
Their Grand Final Function takes place in the 24-hour sports bar near Pontoon. We’ve stopped here in the past for a drunken game of Fifa and old-school arcade Street Fighter button bashing, but this Saturday the venue is going mad for AFL!
Starting early, at 10am, you’re welcomed with Breakfast Muffins and a free draught beer, tea, coffee or soft drink.
The bar will run their ‘happy hour’ throughout the whole event, and serving up Vodka Oranges at half time. Plus, expect nibbles and prizes throughout the afternoon, also served with a slice of PRIZES, via a raffle.
The event is scheduled to finish at 3pm and is $15 for adults and $5 for Children.

Aussie XL
The AFL final in an Aussie bar? Well that makes sense. As expected, they’re going all out for it!
For $20 you’ll gain entry and feast upon a grand all-inclusive BBQ of hamburgers, sausage sizzle, chicken and pork baguettes and salad too. Beer, cider and soft-drink options are also included, making us wonder how much we could guzzle between 11am and 4pm.

Score bar
Perhaps you’re curious about the sport but don’t want to pay a high price-tag to watch AFL? You can count on Score bar to cover the biggest sporting events: they’re showing the game between 11.30 and 1.30pm.
No entry fee and usual Saturday antics!

Che Culo!
Whilst we usually celebrate Che Culo! for it’s Taco Tuesdays or Wing Wednesdays, the hip venue have announced they’ll also be showing the AFL.
Fun fact, Che Culo! means ‘That Ass!’ in Italian!
