Artist Talk by Zen Teh, 6:30pm. Sra’ Art, No. 7 Sothearos Boulevard
Singaporean artist Zen Teh will guide you through her complex, poetic work, which delves into forests, landscapes, and human relationships with the natural environment. Working across photography, sculpture and installation, Zen’s contemporary approach plays with ideas of photography as a physical object in its own right and blurs boundaries between art and other disciplines, including an ongoing collaboration with the environmental biologist Dr Ching Jianhong, which was exhibited at Singapore’s ArtScience Museum and Lee Wee Nam Library.

Maki Orkestr, eight of the city’s most talented classically trained musicians bring their eclectic and enthralling sounds to Backstreet bar from 8pm.
