It’s Friday, it’s St. Patrick’s Day… what more excuse do you need? Here’s our roundup of the best places in Phnom Penh to celebrate tonight.

Tonight’s biggest event is the St Patrick’s Day Riverside Festival, centred around the FCC Mansion. The festivities kick off at 4pm, with live (Irish) music, cold Guinness, pizza from Katy Peri’s and burgers from Roots and Burgers until 11.30pm. Oh, and prizes for the best Paddy-themed outfits, should you be so inclined. Don’t be put off by the early finish – as the street party winds down, the St Paddy’s Day Beerathon should just be getting going over at Club Love, with 2-4-1 draft beer from 10pm until 4am.

Looking for a proper Irish pub night feel? Head over to Paddy Rice, where the O’Rigley’s Real Irish Band is playing from 9pm, and proper Guinness in widget cans (the ones with the plastic ball to give it the creamy texture you get from the tap) is on offer. Or, for a more chilled out start to your night, you can catch Farm to Table’s Fiddler on the Farm from 6-8pm, where Chris Davis and Joe Wrigley are playing traditional Irish fiddle music.

Elsewhere, Alchemy is running a late Happy Hour (3-4-2 on cocktails) in honour of Paddy’s Day at its Shake the Walls event, there’s Reggae and Jungle Beats as usual at Top Banana’s Friday Session, and Cloud is hosting its 10th Block Party, with Cambodian Hip Hop and DJs, live painting and food from The Supreme Burgers & Cheesecakes, until 4am.
