Where to watch the English Premier League 2019/20 in Phnom Penh

Don’t miss any of the football action in the 2019/20 Premier League. Phnom Penh has plenty of Sports bars showing live coverage…

The English Premier League has returned, kicking off on Saturday 10th August at 02:00 local time, with Liverpool V Norwich.

The biggest clash of week 1 is arguably Manchester United V Chelsea on Sunday at 22:30, with many exciting fixtures to follow. Here are our picks for the opening weeks.

Week 2 – Manchester City V Tottenham, Saturday 17th August at 23:30
Week 3 – Liverpool V Arsenal, Saturday 24th August at 23:30
Week 4 – Arsenal V Tottenham, Sunday 1st September at 22:30
Week 5 – Manchester United V Leicester, Saturday 14th September at 19:00

Time difference

English time is 5 hours behind Phnom Penh.  This means that some fixtures will be kicking off at 01:00am on Friday night/Saturday morning local Cambodian time. Fortunately many bars are either open 24/7 or will open at unconventional business hours for big fixtures.

From experience, any teams outside the ‘big six*‘ won’t warrant a closed venue opening unless they’re contacted by a big group of fans. We’ve noticed a wave of Villa fans in Phnom Penh, so lads – you’ll need to make your presence known!

*Man City, Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool.
