What’s On Screen?
At META House, catch cult classic The Room (7pm) – variously adored and reviled as the worst film of all time – followed by James Franco’s The Disaster Artist (8.30pm), telling the story behind the film’s creation.
Or there’s a showing of Armando Iannucci’s dark comedy Death of Stalin at Flicks 1 at 6.30pm.
What’s On Stage?
The big one tonight is Pharcyde at Hard Rock Cafe. One of the most influential hip hop groups of all time, the band are playing in Phnom Penh as part of their 25th Anniversary album tour. We believe it’s sold out, but you might be able to snag returns if you get there early.
Elsewhere, there’s gorgeous Friday night jazz from Aymen Ghali and Mett Legita at Farm to Table, as well as from Upside at Alchemy. For steamy Latin rhythms, check out El Gato at the Bassac Lane street party, or for upbeat pop, head to the Boxchords’ gig at Duplex.

What’s On the Menu?

Before he turned his attention to bullying the rest of the world, Trump tried – and failed – to bully a group of Scottish homeowners who were trying to stop him destroying a stretch of beautiful coastline. To see how that panned out, check out You’ve Been Trumped (4pm) at META House.
Following that, there’s another top documentary, the Tenth Dancer, which follows efforts to rebuild Cambodia’s artistic traditions following the Pol Pot regime.
And, at Flicks 1, you can catch acclaimed feature film Please Stand By (8pm), about a young autistic woman’s quest to deliver her Star Trek script to Hollywood.
