Get down to buzzing Bassac Lane this Saturday April 8th for an awesome open-air soul gig in one of the city’s top music spots.
This week, newcomer Amy Powell will be belting out soul covers, backed by Phil Javelle and Antti Siitonen. As usual, you’ll also be able to pick up delicious burgers, gyoza, ramen, falafel or schwarma from the lane’s great selection of eateries, as well as sampling some of the city’s best cocktails at the famous cluster of bars.
Bassac Lane street parties are always massively popular, with an electric atmosphere, crowds of drinkers and dancers packed into the tiny street, a handful of kids going nuts in front of the stage and, of course, the odd family on a motorbike weaving through the fray.
In case you missed last month’s gig from Joe Wrigley and the Jumping Jacks, here’s a little taster of what to expect this Saturday on Bassac Lane:
Amy Powell is performing on Bassac Lane from 8.30pm on Saturday 8th April
