On Saturday a local beloved Tuk Tuk driver, Kmao Cambodia tragically lost the bottom half of his leg in a road accident. His Tuk Tuk was hit by an SUV, the driver of which then fled the scene. As a result Kmao, and his family have been left with the medical bills. On top of this it could take up to 5 months for Kmao to recover! Many people have donated money to Kmao to help him and his family through this very difficulty time and they have already raised $748!
On Saturday, May 13th a number of bars and clubs across the capital will be holding fundraisers to raise money for Kmao.
Phnom Penh Underground will be hosting the Club Love fundraiser with frontman DJ Sequence spinning the best in Bassline House and DnB on from 11pm – very late. A donation box will be setup at the Club Love bar and on top of this will donate $0.50 from each draft beer sold that night.
Entry is free and you will find happy hour between 11-12.

Noon and Night Cocktail and Kebab Bar
From 5pm onwards, Noon & Night bar on St. 278 will host its fundraiser for Kmao on the soft opening of the new bar. So Saturday night gives you the opportunity to fall in love with a brand new drinking establishment on St. 278, a street constantly fighting to be the top dog in Phnom Penh nightlife. At the same time you have the opportunity to donate to Kmao and his family.
