Space Four Zero’s Massive Moving Sale + New Exhibition

Snaffle a bargain before the gallery moves to 244 1/2.

Space Four Zero is moving! The retro gallery and purveyor of rare vinyls is just about to take up new digs on artsy alleyway St 244 ½, just along from ARTillery and Bong Bong Bong. Before they do, they’re holding one last blowout sale.

The Sale

This Saturday and Sunday, from 10am-7pm, pick up a unique artwork, print, vinyl or  collectible rock-related item with up to 25% off.

And the sale continues next weekend too, with a final extravaganza just days before Valentine’s Day – giving you the perfect chance to pick up something genuinely special for the person you love (or, at least, want to impress)

The New Place

The gallery might be vacating its spot a block back from Riverside, but it isn’t going far. The new spot is nestled on the street-art-spattered alleyway connecting St 240 and St 244, – one of the city’s best known creative enclaves.

Same Same But Different

What’s more, the team plans to open the doors of their new venue with a bang: an exhibition of work by acclaimed New York artist Julia Haw.

Called “Same Same But Different”, the collection explores the overlaps and diversions between Southeast Asian and Western cultures, using political and historical references, social interactions and humour.

A much-loved addition to Phnom Penh’s art scene, Haw has recently seen an explosion of interest in her work back in the States, where pieces regularly sell for thousands of dollars. This is top opportunity to see her creations in an intimate setting, before she gets too big!

The exhibition opens on Saturday 17th February with an awesome launch from 6-11pm. Tunes will be spun by Brian Offenther, the only US DJ ever to play in North Korea, food will be provided by Fat Passion, and beer is courtesy of Kingdom.

And Don’t Miss…

The Space Four Zero team also has a string of top events planned for the new location, including more exhibitions than ever and a weekly “Vinyl Night” held every Wednesday. Stay tuned!
