Another year, another month, and another sprinkle of articles dubbed “best bars in Phnom Penh” that yet again feature Sundown Social Club. The Toul Tompoung favourite has just announced a Sangria Session event on Friday, 17 January, from 5pm until late.
There’s the usual happy Hour from 5pm until 7pm, but for this special event there will also be a special $10 price for all Classic and Summer Sangria cocktail jugs all day/night.

To round off the event is a dynamic DJ duo debut dubbing ‘dem-selves “Chivalrous Nights”. Which is perhaps the best DJ collective name in the city, mainly because I came up with it. The Tartan Gentleman (aka me) shall team up with DafDafDaf (the Netherland’s finest export) to play deep, funky and disco house.
