Friday

What’s On Screen

Blockbuster hit On The Basis of Sex, screens at 8:30pm at The Flicks. The hard hitting legal drama looks at the life of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’ and her struggle for equal rights.

What’s On Stage

Kick off the weekend from 5pm at the garden in Botanico. From 7pm Antonio Elchico gets us going with guitar and some laid back beats.

Phnom Penh is not stranger to a cover band and tonight is no exception. From 8pm, the Hard Rock Cafe Phnom Penh hosts a Bruno Mars Vs. Lady Gaga tribute night. Yup, you heard us.

The big one tonight is brought to you by Hypnotic Fist Technique who kick things off at The Mansion from 9pm.

 

Saturday

What’s On Screen

For something a bit different, Shoplifters screens at The Flicks from 6:40pm. The quirky Japanese production looks at loyalty, friendship and how petty theft can bring everyone together.

What’s On Stage

From 6:30pm the Sinville Rodshow takes the stage  at Sundance 172.

Cloud is hosting a night of reggae and dubstep from 9pm. DJ Chakka C, DJ Blood Dunza from Phnom Penh regular DJ Gorimaa will bring the party all night long.

From 8pm Antonio and The Experiments take stage at Alchemy. The 6 member band will bring some classics in a night of top quality cover tracks.  

Sunday

What’s On Screen

Everybody knows screens at The Flicks from 8:15pm. The always fantastic Penelope Cruz takes on an exotic adventure from Argentina to Spain, in a trip filled with kidnap, secrets and lush dramatic landscapes.

What’s On Stage

There are still some tickets available for Sunday screening of The Orphan Train at The Sovannaphum theatre from 5pm. The Phnom Penh Players production has sold out for Friday and Saturday, but you might get lucky on the door on the night!

Enjoy some live romantic music from 6pm at KWest restaurant with Ms. Duo Ngọc Tuyền on vocals and Mr. Thanh Huy on guitar.

Celebrate the Golden Era from 10pm at Oscar’s On The Corner. Expect some of the best oldies from a full night dedicated to classic Khmer rock.
